She is a proud member of several Italian - American and Sicilian - American organizations. Michelle has never forgotten her roots and she feels it is of utmost importance to stay connected to her heritage. She remembers her humble beginnings with pride and a sense of accomplishment. Michelle also gives back to her community via several charities. "The need for charity is much more greater now than EVER" says Michelle. "Many of those who once gave to charity are now needing a helping hand" she says.
